Scanner

Our scanner is the revolutionary Imacon Progression III (a glass-free 2-in-1 transparency and reflective A3+ scanner), featuring innovative 'Flextight' scanning technology with the ability to scan film, negatives or prints, including original artwork up to 13" x 19" in size. We can scan film up to 7"x5" on the 'virtual drum' and up to 13" x 19" on the flatbed. The scanned image can then be corrected for colour, brightness and contrast to your preference, text can be added etc.

Once scanned, your images can be archived to CD, and are then preserved from damage. The files can be saved in different file sizes depending on requirements:

• Low resolution for website use - in thumbnail and enlargement sizes if required
• High resolution for finely detailed enlargements and fine art reproduction as giclée prints
• Medium resolution for storage for future medium size printed copies

Prices vary according to the type of scan and other work required, so please contact us for your personal scanning requirements.

File Archiving to CD

• Scanned images

Whether for web use or for future reproduction or for making into a giclée print, the image is safely preserved on CD.

• Digital photographs

For archiving for your personal viewing, or for sending to family or friends, or for future printing the CD is an easily stored solution.

• Other digital files

Files archived on CD can be easily accessed for future reference.
